Sankofa is the belief we must move forward as we remember our past. In doing so, we plant a seed for future generations. Burt believed this principle and lived his life giving back and assisting those coming behind him.  He lived by the inspirational quote, "education is the passport to the future, and tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."

The Burt Clark Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 2021. The Foundation, guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who have a sincere desire to continue Burt's legacy, will provide scholarships to deserving high school seniors recognizing achievements in academics, art, athletics, community service, creative writing and overcoming adversity.
